COMMUNITY

By proceeding forward with the Lasting Love Academy Community, I am stating that I have read, I understand, I agree to the following conditions, and I proceed forward at your own risk:

1. ELIGIBILITY: I agree that I am an adult who is 18 years of age or older and have the competence and legal authority to agree to the terms herein.
2. PRIVACY: I understand that engaging in the Lasting Love Academy Community does not require that I provide my personal information to other Community members, and I can change this information at any time to protect my identity. To do this, once logged into the LastingLoveAcademy.com or Lasting Love Academy App, I can access my community settings by clicking on the "Community" link, selecting the "My Profile" picture (or Avatar), or the drop-down menu next to the Avatar, and then clicking the "Settings" link. I may use any name or alias I desire as long as it does not represent another living individual who could be harmed by the use of the name I choose. I will not use pictures of another person to represent me, but I can use avatars, images, or symbols if I choose.
3. COMMUNITY SAFETY: I agree to provide for myself and others a safe place for feedback, information, and support by not engaging in verbally, sexually, financially, or emotionally abusive behavior, threats, intimidation, or exploitation. I agree to not participate in sexting or soliciting money, business ventures, or sexual and personal requests. The intent of the Community is for support and feedback only. I will refrain from offensive language, including excessive swearing or potentially insensitive and hateful communication. I agree to hold Alisa Goodwin Snell, the Lasting Love Academy, and its staff harmless for my or other community members' actions. I agree to report those who act in inappropriate ways by emailing [email protected] with COMMUNITY SAFETY in the subject. I agree to accept the actions or inaction that may result from this report and hold the Lasting Love Academy and its staff harmless (whether I or others are the subject of the complaint) as it can take time to investigate these claims and I may not be privy to any probationary or disciplinary actions taken against a member.
4. COMMUNITY CONFIDENTIALITY: I agree not to share the identifying information of any person within the Community and to protect others by not disclosing sensitive information that could be harmful to their reputation, safety, or mental health. I may use alternate names or non-identifying information when discussing others or my interactions with them so long as this information is not sensitive or could be used to identify them. I agree to be held responsible for the distress my actions may cause and to cover the legal fees and the result of any lawsuit for which the Lasting Love Academy incurs due to my failure to abide by these rules and the rights of other Community Member's confidentiality. Please note that in the rare event that a subpoena for a records request or other information is sent to the Lasting Love Academy (or its corporate entity, Davis Counseling Center), all requested information will be sent. Thus, do not share information that would be sensitive in nature within the Lasting Love Academy, it's Community, or Coaching.
5. MY RESPONSIBILITY AND SAFETY: I agree to proceed forward with the Lasting Love Academy and the Lasting Love Academy Community at my own risk, and I accept sole responsibility for my actions and decisions, regardless of the opinions shared therein or whether provided by Alisa Goodwin Snell, the Lasting Love Academy, its staff, or its community members. I accept that if I choose to provide my name, pictures, telephone number, social media, or other identifying information (or fail to remove this information from my "Profile") within the Community or if I provide these to a Community member through private communication, I am accepting full responsibility. I acknowledge that I can not control how others may use my personal information, posts, or communication and with whom they may share it. I agree to hold the Lasting Love Academy harmless from the consequences of my actions or the actions of others both within the Lasting Love Academy Community and in real-world interactions. I accept that my safety and mental health are my responsibility to protect, and I will take appropriate steps to ensure my emotional, physical, sexual, and financial safety. If I choose to engage in one-on-one communication or face-to-face interactions, I accept that although this can be allowed, it is not encouraged and could result in termination from the Community without refunds if complaints are received. 
6. CRIMINAL INELIGIBILITY: By joining the Community, I am stating that I do and have not been charged with any felony or misdemeanor for abuse, domestic violence, assault, sexual abuse, or the soliciting, abuse, or exploitation of a minor, adult, or vulnerable adult. My failure to reveal or explain any charges such as these, or anything like unto them, to [email protected] with the subject of CRIMINAL INELIGIBILITY REQUEST will result in my immediate expulsion from the Community and my forfeiture of any refund.
7. INHERENT RISKS OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION: I acknowledge and accept that the Lasting Love Academy does not vet, guarantee, or research those who participate in the Community as long as they engage appropriately and in compliance with the rules herein. It is the sole responsibility of each member to set appropriate boundaries to ensure their emotional, physical, sexual, and financial safety. I agree to inform the Lasting Love Academy of any sexting, inappropriate or abusive communication, or offensive language and images to [email protected] with the subject of COMMUNITY MEMBER CONCERNS. When reporting others, I agree to do so in good faith and without expectation of a specific outcome, as such circumstances and evidence may be difficult to verify, and a specific report may take time to investigate. I will provide relevant documentation, including a description of any inappropriate communications or actions for which I have direct knowledge or personal experience. I agree to hold Alisa Goodwin Snell, the Lasting Love Academy, and its staff harmless, independent of any action they take or don't take.
8. CHILD ABUSE REPORTING AND THREATS OF HARM TO SELF OR OTHERS: I understand, accept, and agree to report any evidence of child abuse or threats of harm to self or others by calling 911. After contacting 911, I will also report this information to the Lasting Love Academy by email at [email protected] with the subject of SAFETY CONCERN IN THE COMMUNITY so they can begin an internal review and take appropriate action. In the event that I share reportable information within the Community relative to possible child abuse or harm to self or others, I grant the Lasting Love Academy, its staff, all Community members, and Alisa Goodwin Snell permission to report to law enforcement and government agencies any information or identifying information necessary to complete this reporting and its subsequent investigations or legal actions. I agree to hold them harmless for my actions, any reports made, and charges that are filed, regardless of whether I believe their actions were taken in good faith or not. I agree to pay for all legal fees, travel expenses, or testimony and defense-related costs resulting from my actions incurred by the Lasting Love Academy or its staff.
9. BREACH OF CONTRACT: I acknowledge and accept that the Lasting Love Academy and its staff may provide restrictions or permanently remove my membership and community accesses due to any violations of these conditions or based on any Lasting Love Academy staff member's sole discretion.
